Newborn

When should you contact me?
As soon as you know you are pregnant! It’s never too early to contact me. I will be sure to mark my calendar for your due date, knowing he or she may not come on your due date.

When is the best time to photograph newborns?
The best opportunity to get those adorable newborn pictures is during the first 6 to 10 days. Be sure to contact me to let me know as soon as your newest bundle has arrived. I will be able to schedule your session as soon as you call.

What does it include?  Up to a 3-hour session.  Newborns need time to eat and rest during your session. You can’t rush them and I will spend plenty of time with you and your baby in order to capture those sweet moments you are hoping for.

Where will the session happen?
Most of my newborn sessions take place at my home studio. If you would like me to come to your home for the session, I charge an additional $100.

What do I need for my baby?
I have lots of newborn photo props to choose from, headbands, wraps, diaper covers, etc. Of course, I will also use any special props or clothes you provide during the shoot. I have white noise machine and space heater to help keep the little one relaxed and backdrops and baskets to get that perfect shot. I keep multiple blankets and waterproof pads on hand for all of those accidents that will happen during the photo shoot. The naked newborn pictures are my favorites and accidents are sure to happen. Everything is washed in newborn friendly detergent before every session. Your session also includes access to an online gallery and slide show of your images. You can share this link with your family and friends for viewing.  You can also order quality prints of all sizes right through this link that will ship right to your house.

How much?
Newborn sessions start at $450 and include digital files. PLEASE NOTE, newborn sessions take place during the WEEK. If a weekend is available and you would like a session on the weekend, an additional $100 fee is added. Don’t hesitate to contact me anytime during your pregnancy.
